WellyTails was born from John Leveris's passion for animal health and welfare since growing up on a dairy farm with multiple pet cats and dogs.
After losing a cherished poodle in the 2007 pet food melamine contamination scandal, he investigated the pet foods and supplements industry and learned that caring pet parents were being extensively duped into buying inferior products by slick marketing.
John holds an Animal Nutrition & Genetics degree from the University of Guelph. He leverages his experience, research journals, and the expertise of fellow pet health industry professionals to craft super premium supplements and Simply-Add-Meat homemade pet food mixes.
Gladys Galeano has always had pet dogs in her life and holds a degree in microbiology. Her expertise ensures ingredients, production operations and finished product quality are always at the highest level.
